A method to facilitate communication over a network between a payment at computer (124) and buyer computer (222) includes receiving at the payment computer a plurality of requests from the buyer computer to purchase items, each of the plurality of requests being associated with requests to purchase items and debiting the vault (170) to account for all costs related to the items; receiving at the payment computer from the buyer computer a buyer selected request to refund the cost of the items; and upon receipt of the request to refund, the payment computer accounts for the cost of the corresponding ones of the items in the refund account and credits the vault with the cost of the corresponding ones of the items thereby effectuating a refund.
L'invention concerne un procédé facilitant les communications via un réseau entre un ordinateur de paiement (124) et un ordinateur acheteur (222), consistant à recevoir au niveau de l'ordinateur de paiement plusieurs demandes d'achat d'articles provenant de l'ordinateur acheteur, chaque demande étant associée à un article correspondant, à débiter la caisse (170) pour l'équivalent de tous les frais liés aux articles, et à recevoir au niveau de l'ordinateur de paiement une demande sélectionnée de l'acheteur depuis l'ordinateur acheteur en vue du remboursement du prix des articles. Dès réception de la demande de remboursement, l'ordinateur de paiement comptabilise les frais des articles correspondants dans le compte de remboursement et crédite la caisse du montant des articles correspondants, effectuant ainsi le remboursement.
