A method and apparatus are described for providing non-packet switched service to a target radio access technology (RAT) network. A circuit switched (CS) service notification message is received by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU). If the WTRU has been allo-cated a valid temporary mobile subscriber identity (TMSI), a paging response mes-sage including the valid TMSI is transmit-ted after an inter-system change is per-formed from a source RAT network to a target RAT network. The CS service notifi-cation message is for terminating a CS call request. The source RAT network may be a long term evolution (LTE) network, and the target RAT network may be a third generation partnership project (3GPP) net-work. Alternatively, if the WTRU has not been allocated a valid TMSI, a paging re-sponse message including an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) that identifies the WTRU is transmitted after the inter-system change.
La présente invention porte sur un procédé et sur un appareil permettant d'offrir un service sans commutation de paquets à un réseau cible de technologie d'accès radio (RAT). Un message de notification de service à commutation de circuits (CS) est reçu par une unité de transmission/réception sans fil (WTRU). Si une identité d'abonné mobile temporaire (TMSI) valide a été allouée à l'unité WTRU, un message de réponse de radiomessagerie comprenant l'identité TMSI valide est transmis après qu'un changement intersystème est effectué entre un réseau RAT source et un réseau RAT cible. Le message de notification de service CS a pour objet de mettre fin à une demande d'appel CS. Le réseau RAT source peut être un réseau d'évolution à long terme (LTE) et le réseau RAT cible peut être un réseau de projet de partenariat de troisième génération (3GPP). En variante, si une identité TMSI valide a été allouée à l'unité WTRU, un message de réponse de radiomessagerie comprenant une identité d'abonné mobile international (IMSI) qui identifie l'unité WTRU, est transmis après le changement intersystème.
