- La présente invention concerne une méthode pour l'évaluation rapide d'au moins une caractéristique de pollution de sols naturels à partir d'un échantillon des sols, méthode dans laquelle l'échantillon est chauffé dans un premier temps en atmosphère non oxydante puis, dans un second temps, en atmosphère oxydante. - La méthode comporte différentes étapes d'élévation de température à partir desquelles on détermine au moins cinq grandeurs Q0, Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 représentatives des produits polluants contenus dans ledit échantillon, puis on déduit à partir de ces grandeurs la nature et les quantités des produits polluants.
