A method for reducing the adverse effects of a fire, in which method smoke and combustion gases are removed from a space by spraying through at least one first spray head (2) a mist of a medium into a duct part (1) leading away from the space so as to generate a suction from the space into the duct near the orifice (4) of the duct (1). In a first step, the first spray head (2) is activated and, when necessary, a connection is opened from the space into the duct part (1) via the orifice (4) of the duct part by opening a shutter element (5) and, in a second step, the connection from the space into the duct part (1) is closed by means of the shutter element (5) at least when the temperature of the combustion gases and/or smoke exceeds a predetermined value in the duct part or in its vicinity and, when necessary, the spraying through the first spray head (2) in the duct part (1) is stopped.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de réduire les effets néfastes d'un feu, qui consiste à faire évacuer d'un espace la fumée et les gaz de combustion par pulvérisation par le biais d'au moins un premier pulvérisateur (2) d'un milieu sous forme d'embrun dans un conduit (1) sortant de cet espace de façon à générer une aspiration à partir de cet espace dans le conduit à proximité de son orifice (4). Dans une première étape, le premier pulvérisateur (2) est activé et, s'il y a lieu, on ouvre une connexion à partir de l'espace dans le conduit (1) par le biais de l'orifice (4) du conduit grâce à un élément obturateur (5) et, dans une seconde étape, on ferme la connexion à partir de l'espace dans le conduit (1) grâce audit élément obturateur (5), du moins lorsque la température des gaz de combustion et/ou de la fumée excède une certaine valeur dans le conduit ou à proximité de celui-ci et, s'il y a lieu, on arrête la pulvérisation par le biais du premier pulvérisateur (2) dans le conduit (1).
