Abstract of the Disclosure A method of reforming a thin-walled spirally grooved round duct into a rectangular duct that is light- weight and bendable without significantly changing the cross-sectional area of the duct at the bend, by applying a plurality of reforming forces simultaneously to the interior of the round duct, which reforming forces are sufficient to cause the duct metal to slightly yield to prevent the tendency of the reformed duct to partially return to its original shape after removal of the reforming forces and apparatus for accomplishing the same is disclosed.
