Techniques for improving reliability of signaling are described. A transmitter determines if improved reliability is applicable for signaling for a data frame. The transmitter sends the signaling without improved reliability if deemed not applicable and with improved reliability if deemed applicable. A receiver receives the signaling and declares the signaling as reliable or unreliable based on the received signal quality of the received frame and a threshold. The receiver recovers the signaling if deemed reliable and decodes the received frame in accordance with the recovered signaling. The receiver declares the received frame as a null frame or performs some other action if the signaling is deemed unreliable.
La présente invention concerne des techniques permettant d'améliorer la fiabilité de la signalisation. Un émetteur détermine si une fiabilité améliorée est applicable pour une signalisation de trame de données. Cet émetteur envoie la signalisation sans fiabilité améliorée s'il considère que celle-ci n'est pas applicable et avec une fiabilité améliorée s'il considère que celle-ci est applicable. Un récepteur reçoit la signalisation et déclare la signalisation comme étant fiable ou non fiable à partir de la qualité du signal reçu de la trame reçue et d'un seuil. Le récepteur récupère la signalisation si elle est considérée comme fiable et décode la trame reçue conformément à la signalisation récupérée. Le récepteur déclare la trame reçue comme étant une trame nulle ou effectue quelque autre action si la signalisation est considérée comme non fiable.
