A method of quickly and easily connecting a station that has no user means of network selection or of inputting required passwords in order to connect to a network. The station communicates and interacts with a client in order to communicate a list of more networks, and their respective details, than the client may be able to detect itself, as well to receive instructions as to which network to connect to and any additional required data, such as a password, thereby resulting a connecting the station to the wireless network with minimal interaction from a user, thereby minimizing the possibility for errors and negating the need for any user interaction tools on the station (for example keypad, display).
