A membrane filtration, for removing floating substances and salts from a liquid uses vertically positioned capillary or tube membranes which are suitable for performing nano or hyper filtration. Repeatedly and consecutively the following steps are performed: a) a permeate is produced without discharge of concentrate for a predetermined period of time; b) then a gas, for example air, is guided along side the membrane, at least almost without discharge of permeate and without discharge of concentrate; c) and finally a concentrate is discharged without discharge of permeate. During step a) and step c) use can be made of a combined supply of liquid and gas. An apparatus for performing this method is described as well.
L'invention concerne la filtration sur membrane destinée à éliminer les substances flottantes et les sels d'un liquide, au moyen de membranes à capillaires ou à tubes placées verticalement, qui conviennent pour la nanofiltration ou l'hyperfiltration. Le procédé de l'invention consiste, de façon répétée et consécutive, à: (a) produire un perméat sans déconcentration pendant une période de temps déterminée; (b) diriger un gaz, par exemple de l'air, le long de la membrane, pratiquement sans sortie de perméat ni déconcentration; (c) et enfin à sortir un concentrat sans sortie du perméat. Au cours des étapes (a) et (c), on peut utiliser une alimentation combinée en liquide et en gaz. L'invention concerne également un appareil permettant d'exécuter ce procédé.
