An apparatus (10) for inserting a lining material into a pipeline (100) includes an elongated carrier device (12) having a hollow central portion (24) which encloses a liner-bladder assembly. The liner-bladder (26, 36) assembly includes an elongated inflation bladder (36) which engages an open end (16) of the carrier device and expands under fluid pressure out of the carrier device. The pipe liner (26) is frangibly attached to the inflation bladder (36) such that its attachment anchors the liner with respect to the open end of the carrier device to permit accurate placement of the liner within a pipeline proximate to a comprised section of the pipeline. The frangible connection (82) breaks when the carrier device and inflation bladder are removed from the pipeline.
Appareil (10) servant à introduire un matériau de doublage à l'intérieur d'une conduite (100) et comportant un dispositif porteur (12) allongé présentant une partie centrale creuse (24) renfermant un ensemble doublage/vessie (26, 36) qui comporte une vessie oblongue (36) qui s'engage dans une extrémité ouverte (16) du dispositif porteur et se dilate sous la pression d'un fluide pour sortir de ce dernier. Le doublage (26) est fixé de manière frangible à la vessie (36) ce qui permet de positionner le doublage avec précision dans la conduite à proximité de la partie endommagée. La liaison frangible (82) se rompt au moment où le dispositif porteur et la vessie sont retirés de la conduite.
