Abstract. An arrangement for raise mining, said equipment including drill equipment (40-60) for drilling in the walls (2) of a pilot drift and an operator's and service platform (10), which is movable along a guide (4), which is attached to one of the walls of the pilot drift. In order to make possible support of heavy drill equipment independently of the dimensions of the guide, the drill equipment (40-60) is carried by a cable driven platform (24), having means (32,34) for guidance alongthe guide (4), and being movable along this independently of the operator's and service platform. (Fig. 1).
