A method of producing a paperless gypsum/fiber board from a mixture including reinforcing material particles, calcined gypsum and water. A headbox feeds the mixture into a panel forming area (forming pond) over the upper surface of a continuous forming fabric to form a panel mat. Also, a reinforcing mesh is fed over a transverse member, located over a portion of the forming fabric, and into the forming pond to embed the mesh in the mixture. At least a portion of a downstream end of the transverse member is under a downstream portion of the headbox or downstream of the headbox Then the panel mat is pressed, the calcined gypsum of the pressed panel mat is rehydrated, and the resulting board is dried.
L'objet de la présente invention concerne une méthode de fabrication d'un panneau de gypse/fibre sans papier à partir d'un mélange contenant des particules de matériau renforçant, du gypse calciné et de l'eau. Une caisse de tête introduit le mélange dans une zone dans laquelle le panneau est fabriqué (bassin de fabrication) au-dessus de la surface supérieure d'une toile de formation continue destinée à constituer un mat de panneau. Une maille renforcée est également introduit par-dessus un organe transversal situé au-dessus d'une partie de la toile de formation puis dans le bassin de fabrication afin d'enrober la maille dans le mélange. Au moins une partie de l'extrémité inférieure de l'organe transversal se trouve sous la partie inférieure de la caisse de tête ou sous la caisse de tête. Puis le mat de panneau est comprimé, le gypse calciné du mat de panneau comprimé est réhydraté et le panneau ainsi fabriqué est séché.
