A verifier (20) for verifying the authenticity of a communication sent via a communications network from a first network component (10) to a second network component (1000) including input means/apparatus arranged for receiving via the communications network an encrypted communication from a said first network component. The verifier has key means/apparatus operable to issue to a said second network component a key associated with the first network component on condition that the verifier has verified the encrypted communication to be decryptable using said key thereby to enable the second network component to decrypt encrypted communications from the first network component sent independently of the verifier apparatus.
La présente invention porte sur un vérificateur (20) pour vérifier l'authenticité d'une communication envoyée par un réseau de communications d'un premier composant de réseau (10) à un second composant de réseau (1000) comprenant un moyen/appareil d'entrée conçu pour recevoir, par l'intermédiaire du réseau de communication, une communication cryptée provenant d'un premier composant de réseau. Le vérificateur comprend un moyen/appareil de clef utilisable pour envoyer audit second composant de réseau une clef associée au premier composant de réseau à condition que le vérificateur ait vérifié que la communication cryptée était décryptable à l'aide de ladite clef, pour ainsi permettre au second composant de réseau de décrypter des communications cryptées provenant du premier composant de réseau envoyées indépendamment de l'appareil vérificateur.
