Method of shaping solid, particulate materials, which comprises forming a raw slurry of the starting material, in a liquid which is a partial solvent of said material, and submitting the slurry to treatment by ultrasound generators to produce therein ultrasonic vibrations which shape and grind the starting, particulate material to produce a shaped slurry of ground and shaped particles. The shaped particles may be separated from their slurry by removing the partial solvent by decantation and/or filtration. The partial solvent may be a liquid in which the material to be shaped has a solubility comprised between 1 and 10, wherein the solubility is expressed as grams of material that are dissolved in 100 ml of the liquid at a temperature of 20 °C. The partial solvent can be chosen from among acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, and mixtures of said solvents with one another or other solvents and/or a minor amount of water, and may also be an organic solvent.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de formage de matériaux particulaires solides. A cet effet, on réalise une bouillie brute contenant le matériau de départ dans un liquide qui est un solvant partiel de ce matériau. On soumet la bouillie à un traitement par des générateurs d'ultrasons venant produire dans la bouillie des vibrations ultrasoniques qui forment et broient le matériau particulaire de départ de façon à obtenir une bouillie formée faite de particules broyées et formées. Pour séparer de leur bouillie les particules formées, on élimine le solvant partiel par décantation et/ou filtrage. Ce solvant partiel peut être un liquide dans lequel le matériau à mettre en forme présente une solubilité comprise entre 1 et 10, la solubilité s'exprimant en grammes de matière dissous dans 100 ml de liquide à une température de 20 DEG C. Le solvant partiel appartient au groupe de l'acétone, du méthyléthyl-cétone, et des mélanges de ces solvants les uns avec les autres et/ou des quantités minimes d'eau. Le solvant peut également être un solvant organique.
