A fluid pressure cylinder assembly (10) is provided with a sensor (36) for sensing the extension of a piston rod (16) from a tubular cylinder (12). The tubular cylinder (12) has a base block (14) that seals the end of the tubular cylinder (12) with an inner wall (41). The inner wall (41) has a threaded bore (43) for receiving a sensor housing (40), which has an elongated rod (38) passing into an axial bore (46) in the piston rod (16). The piston rod (16) carries a sensor element (47) that moves relative to the elongated sensor rod (38). The inner wall (41) is at an inner end of an access bore (58) in the base block (14). The sensor housing (40) is threaded into a bore (43) in the wall using a socket (70) that has a slot (72) to permit a sensor lead (34) to extend to the exterior of the socket (70) and out of the access bore (58) so the lead (34) rotates with the socket (70) in the access bore (58) while the sensor housing (40) is tightened in place. The base block (14) is provided with a slot (54) that extends to the exterior of the base block (14) so that when installed the sensor lead (34) can be extended out through the slot (54) for connection to suitable controls.
L'invention concerne un ensemble vérin hydraulique (10) pourvu d'un capteur (36) qui permet de détecter l'extension de la tige (16) d'un piston depuis un vérin tubulaire (12). Ce vérin tubulaire (12) possède un bloc de base (14) qui ferme son extrémité au moyen d'une paroi intérieure (41). Cette paroi intérieure (41) possède un alésage fileté (43) permettant de recevoir un logement (40) de capteur qui comprend une tige allongée (38) passant à l'intérieur d'un alésage axial (46) situé dans la tige (16) du piston. Ladite tige (16) du piston porte un élément de détection (47) qui se déplace par rapport à ladite tige allongée (38) du capteur. La paroi intérieure (41) se situe au niveau d'une extrémité intérieure d'un alésage d'accès (58) situé dans le bloc de base (14). Le logement (40) du capteur est fileté dans un alésage (43) situé dans la paroi au moyen d'une douille (70) qui possède une encoche (72) permettant à un câble (34) de capteur de s'étendre jusqu'à l'extérieur de la douille (70) et hors de l'alésage d'accès (58) de façon que le câble (34) tourne avec la douille (70) dans l'alésage d'accès (58) alors que le logement (40) du capteur est maintenu en place. Le bloc de base (14) est pourvu d'une encoche (54) qui s'étend jusqu'à l'extérieur de ce dernier de façon que le câble (34) de capteur puisse, une fois installé, s'étendre à travers l'encoche (54) en vue d'une connexion à des commandes appropriées.
