ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method and apparatus for producing painted extruded polyvinyl chloride having a composite surface structure is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of extruding the polyvinyl chloride; then spraying the extruded polyvinyl chloride with paint; then drying the painted extruded polyvinyl chloride; and finally cutting the dried painted extruded polyvinyl chloride into predetermined lengths. The apparatus comprises a polyvinyl chloride extruding device; a paint source; a paint sprayer connected to the paint source for spraying paint onto the extruded polyvinyl chloride; a drier for drying the painted extruded polyvinyl chloride; and a cutting device for cutting dried painted extruded polyvinyl chloride.
