A method and system for synchronizing broadcast program content and corresponding program commands of an Internet-based broadcast. The method (and system) generates a plurality of time-indicative index values during a broadcast of a program, associates one of the plurality of index values with respective commands (17, 18) in a command stream launched during broadcast of the program, transmits the commands (17, 18) and associated index values to one or more clients, and associates one of the plurality index values to respective video frames (13, 14) in a video stream of the program to indicate the relative time within the program at which the video frame (13, 14) occurs. The method (and system) uses the index values in the video stream to determine the timing and sequence of execution of commands (17, 18) in the command stream at the one or more client.
Cette invention concerne un procédé et un système qui permettent de synchroniser le contenu d'un programme diffusé et les instructions d'un programme correspondant d'une diffusion de type Internet. Le procédé (et le système) consiste à générer plusieurs valeurs d'indices indiquant l'heure pendant la diffusion du programme, à associer une des valeurs d'indice à des instructions respectives (17, 18) dans un débit d'instructions lancé lors de la diffusion du programme, à transmettre les instructions (17, 18) et les valeurs d'indice associées à un ou plusieurs clients, et à associer l'une des valeurs d'indice à des trames vidéo respectives (13, 14) dans un débit vidéo du programme afin d'indiquer l'heure relative dans le programme à laquelle arrive la trame vidéo (13, 14). Le procédé, ainsi que le système, utilisent les valeurs d'indice du débit vidéo afin de déterminer la synchronisation et la séquence d'exécution des instructions (17, 18) dans le débit d'instructions au niveau du ou des clients.
