The present invention provides a method and ap-paratus for testing a valve control system in an aircraft fuel supply system having a plurality of control valves, wherein the control system includes a processor adapted to receive feedback signals from each of the plurality of control valves, the method compris-ing the steps of: connecting a test device to the control system such that the test device is connected for signal transmission to the processor; outputting a signal to the processor simulating a feedback signal from at least one of the control valves; detecting a control signal which is output by the processor to the at least one of the control valves; and identifying the detected control signal which is output by the processor to the control valve.

Cette invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de tester un système de commande de vannes dnas un système d'alimentation en carburant pour un aéronef, lequel système comprend plusieurs vannes de régulation. Le système de commande comprend un processeur conçu pour recevoir des signaux de rétroaction provenant de chacune des multiples vannes de commande. Le procédé comprend les étapes qui consistent à connecter un dispositif d'essai au système de commande de telle sorte que le dispositif d'essai est connecté de manière à permettre la transmission de signaux au processeur; à envoyer un signal vers le processeur, lequel signal simule un signal de rétroaction provenant d'au moins l'une des vannes de commande; à détecter un signal de commande qui est produit par le processeur en direction d'au moins l'une des vannes de commande; puis à identifier le signal de commande détecté qui est produit par le processeur en direction de la vanne de commande.
