A method for the joint packaging of bags and the contents thereof, and the apparatus for carrying out the method is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of advancing bags lying on a transporter in such a way that they are pressed evenly without exceeding the maximum volume of the contents thereof; providing the first bag over a temporary support thereof; partially defining the continuous sleeve-like sheet wrapping around and under the bag with a welded bottom; deactivating the temporary support to make the first bag fall towards the bottom of the wrapper, so that the bag and the wrapping go down at the same time; and at the same time the sleeve with discontinued seams is closed; being said seams produced in the longitudinal direction of one of the sides; feeding the temporary support with the next bags one at a time, so that the pile goes down until the pile has a set number of bags; bags wrapped by the sleeve; welding in a cross- sectional fashion the head sheet wall of wrapping, as well as the bottom of the next wrapping, and cutting the resulting package by means of a cut in the clear band occurring between both weldings.
Méthode et appareillage pour l'emballage conjugué de sacs et de leur contenu. La méthode comprend les étapes suivantes : déplacement des sacs couchés sur un transporteur de façon à être serrés les uns contre les autres et régulièrement espacés sans excéder le volume maximum de leur contenu; positionnement du premier sac sur un support temporaire; formation partielle d'un paquet par thermosoudage du fond de la bande d'amballage continue en forme de manchon qui entoure le sac; retrait du support temporaire afin d'entraîner simultanément la chute du premier sac vers le fond de la bande d'emballage, la descente de la bande; en même temps, fermeture du manchon continu à l'aide de soudures longitudinales discontinues effectuées dans le sens d'un des côtés; alimentation du support temporaire avec les sacs suivants, un à la fois, jusqu'à ce que la pile de sacs atteigne un certain nombre de sacs; emballage des sacs dans le manchon; thermosoudage transversal du haut de la bande de recouvrement et du bas de la prochaine section de bande; et découpage du paquet ainsi formé à l'aide d'une incision dans la bande claire située entre les deux thermosoudures.
