A method and system for managing the state of a protected resource (100) in a system (10) for granting access to protected resource in accordance with usage rights. The usage rights include at least one state variable indicating a status of an associated protected resource. A message related to the, state variable is transmitted from a resource control device to an interface framework. The resource control device is coupled to the resource (100) to control use of the resource (100) by enforcing the usage right. A state controller (22) operative to track the value of the state variable is loaded into the framework and instructed to manipulate the value of the state variable in accordance with said message. For example, the message can be a query of the current value of the state variable.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de gestion de l'état d'une ressource protégée dans un système, destiné à autoriser l'accès à une ressource protégée conformément aux droits d'utilisation. Ces droits d'utilisation comprennent au moins une variable d'état indiquant l'état de la ressource protégée correspondante. Un message se rapportant à la variable d'état est transmis par un dispositif de contrôle des ressources à un cadre d'interface. Le dispositif de contrôle des ressources est couplé à la ressource de manière à contrôler l'utilisation de cette dernière avec application du droit d'utilisation. On charge un contrôleur d'état conçu pour suivre la valeur de la variable d'état dans le cadre et on lui donne la consigne de manipuler la valeur de la variable d'état conformément au message en question. Par exemple, le message peut être une demande de la valeur actuelle de la variable d'état.
