An active sampler antenna capable of transmitting signals is disclosed. The active sampler antenna includes a first set of conducting surfaces, a second set of conducting surfaces, a power source, and multiple switches. The second set of conducting surfaces is located substantially parallel to the first set of conducting surfaces. The power source has two terminals, namely, a first terminal and a second terminal. The first terminal of the power source is connected to the second set of conducting surfaces. Each of the switches is connected between a respective one of the first set of conducting surfaces and the second terminal of the power source. The switches allows a defined amount and timing of charges to be delivered from the power source to the first set of conducting surface for signal transmissions.
L'invention se rapporte à une antenne d'échantillonneur active capable de transmettre des signaux. Ladite antenne comprend un premier ensemble de surfaces conductrices, un second ensemble de surface conductrices, une source d'alimentation, et de nombreux commutateurs. Le second ensemble de surfaces conductrices est situé sensiblement parallèle au premier ensemble de surfaces conductrices. La source d'alimentation présente deux terminaux, à savoir, un premier terminal et un second terminal. Le premier terminal de la source d'alimentation est relié au second ensemble des surfaces conductrices. Chacun des commutateurs est relié entre le premier ensemble respectif des surfaces conductrices et le second terminal de la source d'alimentation. Ces commutateurs permettent de distribuer une quantité synchronisée définie de charges depuis la source d'alimentation vers le premier ensemble de surfaces conductrices pour les transmissions de signaux.
