An apparatus for treating selected at least partial surfaces of a masonry block, including at least a flail means having a shaft with an axis of rotation in a vertical plane, at least a moving means for moving one of the said masonry blocks parallel to the vertical plane and the flail means, means for holding the masonry blocks with the selected surface to be treated at a distance from the shaft to be impacted by the flail means.

Cet appareil comporte les éléments suivants : au moins un dispositif à fléau équipé d'un arbre dont l'axe de rotation se trouve dans un plan vertical; au moins un dispositif de déplacement conçu pour déplacer l'un des blocs de maçonnerie parallèlement au plan vertical et au dispositif à fléau; et un dispositif permettant de soutenir les blocs de maçonnerie tout en maintenant la surface à traiter à une certaine distance de l'arbre pour que le dispositif à fléau la percute.
