A process for digesting solid waste material comprises collecting the waste from a first location and transporting it to a second location where a fluids digestion vessel is located. At least some of the fluid fraction from the fluids digestion vessel is fed to the solids digestion vessel so that anaerobic digestion of the solid waste occurs in the solids digestion vessel. At least some of the digested solids waste is recovered, and the solids digestion vessel is preferably returned whence it came. The invention also provides apparatus for use in process.
Cette invention concerne un procédé de digestion de déchets solides, lequel procédé consiste à ramasser les déchets dans un premier endroit et à les transporter dans un second où se trouve une cuve de digestion des fluides. Une partie au moins du fluide provenant de la cuve de digestion des fluides est déversée dans la cuve de digestion des solides afin d'obtenir dans celle-ci une digestion anaérobie des déchets solides. Une partie au moins des déchets solides digérés est ensuite récupérée, la cuve de digestion des solides étant ramenée, de préférence, à son lieu d'origine. Cette invention prévoit également un appareil pouvant être utilisé dans ce procédé.
