In a method and apparatus for treatment of water, it is known as magnetic and light sources are applicable for water treatment and also known as a water treatment apparatus, comprising a water line and an electric power source, an electromagnet inserted into a said circuit through a timer in series with a said coil, one section of the said water line is provided with an inlet port and manufactured from transparent material, a source of monochromatic light, the axis where of is aligned with a geometric center of the said inlet port in said water line section, and a screen mounted on a core of the said electromagnet and serving for periodic interruption of a said beam radiated by the said source of monochromatic light. In this invention, the water is irradiated with monochromatic polarized coherent light in the form of immobile wave at a wavelength 441,6 nm and with monochromatic polarized coherent light in the form of immobile wave at a wavelength 632,8 nm with periods of treatment from 1 second to 1000 seconds at intervals between them from 0 second to 1000 seconds. The periods of light irradiation and the intervals between them form the definite code of water treatment which is selected depending on properties and needs of the biological object which this activated water is destined to. By that, the phenomenon of photo - synergism is realized with maximum effect that improves considerably the quality of the water activation properties and a laminar water flow is not required and so it rises considerably the output of the water treatment. An apparatus for realization of this method comprising a source of monochromatic polarized coherent light at a wavelength 441,6 nm and a source of monochromatic polarized coherent light at a wavelength 632,8 nm are connected to an electric power source through a timer, a water line, having not less than two tubes are connected in consecutive order, and aligned with the axis of corresponding incoming light rays, inlet port of each tube is provided with a semi - transparent mirror and opposite port is provided with an opaque mirror, the distance between the two mirrors is divisible by a wavelength of a corresponding monochromatic polarized coherent light.
