A method of operating a communications network and mobile user equipment (UE) in the network includes providing the UE with an algorithm usable with at least one input parameter to derive a quantity of interaction information according to the at least one input parameter, transmitting at least one said input parameter from the network to the UE, using the algorithm with the received at least one input parameter to derive a quantity of interaction information according to the received at least one parameter, and using the derived quantity of interaction information to determine at least one aspect of interaction between the UE and the network.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'exploitation d'un réseau de communication et d'un équipement utilisateur mobile dans ce réseau. Ce procédé consiste à fournir à l'équipement utilisateur un algorithme pouvant être utilisé avec au moins un paramètre d'entrée pour déterminer une quantité d'informations d'interaction en fonction dudit paramètre au moins; à transmettre ledit paramètre d'entrée au moins du réseau à l'équipement utilisateur; à utiliser l'algorithme avec le paramètre d'entrée au moins reçu pour déterminer une quantité d'informations d'interaction en fonction du paramètre reçu; et à utiliser cette quantité d'informations d'interaction pour déterminer au moins un aspect de l'interaction entre l'équipement utilisateur et le réseau.
