Methods and apparatuses for cleaning an electrical lighter are provided. A sleeve, e.g., ceramic or metal, surrounds the heater fixture, and a resistive heating element (210) is in thermal proximity with the sleeve. The resistive heating element {210) is either a dedicated element or the cigarette heating elements (210). The sleeve serves as an aerosol barrier and condensate accumulator to protect other components. Periodically, e.g., substantially contemporaneously with a battery recharge, the heating element (210) is activated to thermally liberate condensates deposited on the sleeve during smoking and also heats, and thereby cleans, other components. Also, a cleaning element is optionally inserted into the cigarette receptacle of the electrical lighter or placed at the exit thereof to absorb, attract and/or catalytically break down the thermally liberated condensates. The sleeve also directs a desired flow path for drawn air within an electrical lighter toward the cigarette.
La présente invention concerne des procédés et dispositifs permettant de nettoyer un allumoir électrique. Un manchon, en céramique ou en métal notamment, entoure un réchaud, un élément résistif chauffant (210) étant au voisinage thermique de ce manchon. Cet élément résistif chauffant (210) est constitué, soit d'un élément conçu à cet effet, soit des éléments de réchauffage des cigarettes (210). Le manchon sert de barrière aux aérosols et d'accumulateur de condensat capable de protéger d'autres composants. Périodiquement, notamment sensiblement en même temps que la recharge d'une pile, l'élément chauffant (210), qui se met en fonction de façon à libérer par effet thermique des condensats déposés sur le manchon pendant le fumage, se met à chauffer les autres composants, et par conséquent à les nettoyer. De la même façon, mais facultativement, on introduit dans le réceptacle à cigarettes de l'allumoir électrique, ou on place à la sortie de ce réceptacle, un nettoyeur dont la fonction est d'absorber, d'attirer, et/ou de casser par catalyse les condensats libérés par effet thermique. Le manchon sert également à diriger selon un trajet spécifié l'air d'aspiration en direction de la cigarette à l'intérieur d'un allumoir électrique.
