Arrangement for protecting floors above the crawl space and buildings on foundations of the crawl-space type from damp and microbial growth, where the crawl space (2) is delimited by the floor (4) above the crawl space of the building, bearing foundation walls (1) with vents (9) for outdoor air and the foundation ground (3). The arrangement comprises an essentially windtight and vapourtight climate screen (12) which is arranged in such a manner that it divides the crawl space (2) into at least one upper (10) and at least one lower (11) climate zone and forms a tight partition between the climate zones. The climate screen (12) is located at such at height in the crawl space (2) that the outdoor air vents (9) in the foundation walls (1) communicate with only the lower climate zone (11). The upper climate zone (10) is provided with at least one supply air opening (18) which is connected to a room above in the building, and an exhaust air opening (21; 22) which is connected to a discharge duct (23; 24). A fan (25) is arranged in association with the discharge duct (23; 24), by means of which it is possible to maintain a lower pressure in the upper climate zone (10) than the pressure in said room above, so that the upper climate zone (10) is ventilated by indoor air from the building and the lower climate zone (11) is ventilated by outdoor air. The invention also relates to a method of protecting the floor above the crawl space from damp and microbial growth.
L'invention concerne un agencement qui sert à protéger des planchers situés au-dessus du vide sanitaire, et des bâtiments construits sur des fondations du type vide sanitaire, contre l'humidité et la croissance microbienne, et est caractérisé en ce que le vide sanitaire (2) est délimité par le plancher (4) situé au-dessus du vide sanitaire du bâtiment, en ce que ce vide supporte les murs de fondation (1) dotés d'évents (9) destinés à l'air extérieur, ainsi que le sol de fondation (3). Cet agencement comprend un écran climatique (12) étanche au vent et à la vapeur d'eau, conçu de manière à diviser le vide sanitaire (2) en au moins une zone climatique supérieure (1) et en au moins une zone climatique inférieure (11), et formant une cloison étanche entre ces zones climatiques. Cet écran (12) est placé à une certaine hauteur dans le vide sanitaire (2) de manière que les évents d'air extérieur (9) ménagés dans les murs de fondation (1) ne communiquent qu'avec la zone climatique inférieure (11). La zone climatique supérieure (10) est dotée d'au moins une ouverture d'air d'alimentation (18), laquelle est reliée à une pièce située au-dessus dans le bâtiment, ainsi qu'une ouverture d'air d'échappement (21, 22) reliée à une conduite d'évacuation (23, 24). Un ventilateur (25) est monté en association avec la conduite d'évacuation (23, 24), lequel permet de maintenir une pression dans la zone climatique supérieure (10) qui est inférieure à la pression de la pièce située au-dessus dans le bâtiment, de façon que la zone climatique supérieure (10) soit ventilée par de l'air intérieur, à partir du bâtiment, et que la zone climatique inférieure (11) soit ventilée par de l'air extérieur. L'invention concerne également un procédé de protection du plancher situé au-dessus du vide sanitaire, contre l'humidité et la croissance microbienne.
