A device for providing wireless Internet access has been described. The device includes an antenna (fig. 1, 170). The antenna is for receiving wireless queries (fig. 1, 122) and transmitting wireless responses (fig. 1, 132). The device includes a program. The program is for converting the wireless queries (fig. 1, 124) into Internet compatible protocols (fig. 1, 126) program is for receiving the Internet protocol formatted responses (fig. 1, 136). These responses are then converted into the wireless responses (fig. 1, 134).
