Speech recognition technology has attained maturity such that the most likely speech recognition result has been reached and is available before an energy based termination of speech has been made. The present invention innovatively uses therapidly available speech recognition results to provide intelligent barge-in forvoice-response systems and, to count words to output sub-sequences to provide paralleling and/or pipelining of tasks related to the entire word sequence to increase processing throughput.

La technologie de la reconnaissance de la parole permet aujourd'hui d'obtenir les résultats de reconnaissance de parole selon les choix les plus probables et cela avant l'achèvement du signal de parole, commandé par l'énergie vocale. Dans la présente invention, ces résultats rapides à obtenir sont appliqués de façon innovatrice à l'exécution d'interventions intelligentes dans les systèmes à réponse vocale, et au comptage de mots pour la production de sous-séquences permettant le traitement en parallèle et(ou) en pipeline de tâches liées à la séquence de mots complète, de manière à accélérer le traitement.
