A method of converting an open topped container into a top emptying container by the steps of providing a cover with a discharge port (4) and adapted to stand on a support surface, securing the cover to the container, placing the container fitted with the cover in an inverter (16) and inverting the container to reverse the positions of the container base (14) and said cover.

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé permettant de convertir un conteneur à toit ouvert en un conteneur à vidange supérieure. Ledit procédé consiste à utiliser un couvercle muni d'un orifice de décharge (4) et conçu pour être posé sur une surface porteuse, à fixer le couvercle au conteneur, à placer le conteneur équipé du couvercle dans un dispositif de retournement (16) et à retourner le conteneur de manière à inverser les positions de sa base (14) et dudit couvercle.
