The invention relates to a method for preventing vibration in a multi-nip calender (1) or array of multi-nip calendars, each multi-nip calender comprising a lower roll (3; 40), an upper roll (3; 30) and two or more intermediate rolls between the lower roll and the upper roll. The fibre web can be conveyed through the roll nips of two or more multi-nip calenders with these roll nips closed. The intermediate rolls (3) are equipped with load-relieving means and. both the upper roll (3; 30) and the lower roll (3; 40) are equipped with loading means within these rolls and loading means are connected to the lower roll (3; 40) and/or the upper roll (3; 30) for loading these rolls from the outside in a direction parallel with the calender plane. The method comprises intermittent or continuous changes of the running parameters (9) influencing the calendering impulse of one or more selected roll nips (N), with the overall calendering impulse (9) of the calender or calender array and/or the quality variables (21) of the fibre web remaining substantially constant and/or within predetermined limits.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de prévenir les vibrations dans une calandre à points de pinçage multiples (1) ou dans un réseau de calandres à points de pinçage multiples, chaque calandre à points de pinçage multiples comprenant un rouleau inférieur (3 ; 40), un rouleau supérieur (3 ; 30) et deux rouleaux ou davantage, situés entre le rouleau inférieur et le rouleau supérieur. La bande continue peut être transportée à travers l'écartement des cylindres de deux calandres à points de pinçage multiples ou davantage, les espacements entre rouleaux étant fermés. Les rouleaux intermédiaires (3) comportent des moyens de réduction de charge, et le rouleau supérieur (3 ; 30), comme le rouleau inférieur (3 ; 40), comportent des moyens de chargement compris dans ces rouleaux. Des moyens de chargement sont reliés au rouleau inférieur (3 ; 40) et/ou au rouleau supérieur (3 ; 30) pour charger lesdits rouleaux depuis l'extérieur, dans une direction parallèle au plan de la calandre. Ledit procédé comprend des changements intermittents ou continus des paramètres de fonctionnement (9), influant sur l'impulsion de calandrage d'un ou de plusieurs points de pinçage (N) sélectionnés. L'impulsion totale de calandrage (9) de la calandre ou du réseau de calandres et/ou les variables de qualité (21) de la bande fibreuse demeurent sensiblement constantes et/ou comprises dans des limites prédéterminées.
