To shorten the recovery time of a line driver (1) after an overvoltage on its output terminal (3), a current generating device (5) senses a voltage difference between the output voltage of the line driver (1) and its supply voltage (UB) plus a threshold voltage (UT'), and supplies a current (I) that is proportional to the sensed voltage difference up to a maximum current to the output (3) of the line driver (1) to raise its potential to thereby shorten its recovery time.

Selon l'invention, pour raccourcir le temps de récupération d'une commande de ligne (1) après surtension sur son terminal de sortie (3), un dispositif (5) générateur de courant détecte une différence de tension entre la tension de sortie de la commande de ligne (1) et sa tension d'alimentation (UB) plus une tension de seuil (UT'), et fournit un courant (I) proportionnel à la différence de tension détectée, jusqu'à un courant maximal, à la sortie (3) de la commande de ligne (1), ce qui permet d'élever son potentiel et, par conséquent, de raccourcir son temps de récupération.
