A tooth position or a bite can be represented in an articulator. Computer equipment (1') receives information (i3) concerning the tooth position or bite, or one or more parts thereof. The information is obtained by means of a reading function with reading element (6). The computer equipment graphically reproduces vertical sections which are representative of the tooth position or the bite, or respective part. By means of the computer equipment, alterations to the contours or the vertical sections can be simulated in order to obtain a construction alteration. The articulator is arranged to receive a model on which the construction or the construction alteration is implemented. The articulator effects articulation movements in which the functions of the construction or of the construction alteration are exposed and observed.
La position d'une dent ou une occlusion peut être représentée dans un articulateur. Un équipement informatique (1') reçoit des informations (i¿3?) relatives à la position de la dent ou à l'occlusion, ou bien d'une ou de plusieurs de leurs parties. Les informations sont obtenues par la fonction de lecture d'un élément de lecture (6). L'équipement informatique reproduit graphiquement des parties verticales représentatives de la position d'une dent ou de l'occlusion, ou d'une partie respective. L'équipement informatique permet de simuler des modifications des contours ou des parties verticales, afin d'obtenir une modification de construction. L'articulateur est agencé de manière à recevoir un modèle sur lequel la construction ou la modification de la construction est appliquée. L'articulateur effectue des mouvements d'articulation dans lesquels la fonction de la construction ou de la modification de construction sont exposées et observées.
