The invention relates to a method for forming from particles (5) a mat that is intended to provide one or more sheets or boards of lignocellulose-containing material. The particles (5) are deposited onto a forming belt (6) from a supply source (5) which is located at a higher level than the forming belt. According to the invention, movement of the particles is retarded (7, 8) during th eprocess of depositing said particles. The invention also relates to an arrangement for carrying out the method.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de former un mat à partir de particules (5), ce mat pouvant fournir au moins une feuille ou une planche constituée d'un matériau contenant de la lignocellulose. Ces particules (5) sont déposées sur une courroie de conformation (6) à partir d'une source d'alimentation (5) située à un niveau supérieur par rapport à ladite courroie de conformation. Selon l'invention, le mouvement des particules est retardé (7, 8) pendant le processus de dépôt desdites particules. L'invention concerne également un dispositif permettant de mettre en oeuvre ledit procédé.
