The present invention relates to a method for protecting the integrity of flexible pipelines for single point mooring systems in the open sea in which the marine surface is partly covered with sheets of ice, which in the case of impact, damage the flexible pipelines, and this method provides a firm coupling with mechanical elements between a part of the chain of the mooring line and the flexible fluid transfer pipes. The present invention also relates to an articulated structure for the embodiment of the method, in which there are elements containing the flexible pipeline and ice-breaker shields joined to each other and connected to a part of the chain by means of mechanical units which are preferably unmovable.
Cette invention concerne une méthode de protection de pipelines flexibles utilisés avec un système d'amarrage à point unique, en pleine mer partiellement chargée de glaces. La protection contre le choc des glaces et les dommages pouvant en découler fait appel à un accouplement mécanique robuste faisant le lien entre une partie de la chaîne d'amarrage et le pipeline flexible à protéger. Cette invention concerne également une structure articulée de protection composée d'éléments tubulaires mis bout à bout, portant des boucliers brise-glace et dans lesquels passe le pipeline. L'ensemble est relié à une partie de la chaîne d'amarrage au moyen d'éléments mécaniques de préférence non déplaçables.
