A method and an assembly for converting waste water to a gaseous state, including feeding the slurry to the spray dryer reactor (40), the slurry having a predetermined ratio of liquid to absorbent, and controlling the feed rate of the slurry into the spray dryer reactor (40) as a function of the monitored sulfur oxide level. The method also includes supplying waste water into the spray dryer reactor (40) in a non-proportionate manner relative to the feed of absorbent into the spray dryer reactor (40). Both the supply rate of supplemental liquid and the temperature of the flue gas entering the spray dryer reactor (40) are controlled in dependance upon the temperature of the flue gas exiting it such that, in the event that the sensed temperature of the flue gas exiting it is below a minimum acceptable value, the supply rate of supplemental liquid is controlled.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un ensemble permettant de transformer des eaux résiduelles en un état gazeux. Ce procédé consiste à fournir une bouillie dans un réacteur-séchoir (40) à pulvérisation, ladite bouillie comportant un pourcentage prédéterminé de liquide/absorbant, et à réguler la vitesse d'alimentation de la bouillie dans ledit réacteur-séchoir (40) à pulvérisation, sous forme d'une fonction de régulation du niveau d'oxyde de soufre. Ledit procédé consiste également à fournir des eaux résiduelles dans le réacteur-séchoir (40) à pulvérisation sans respecter de proportion particulière par rapport à la fourniture d'absorbant dans ledit réacteur-séchoir (40) à pulvérisation. La vitesse d'alimentation du liquide résiduel et la température du gaz de combustion entrant dans le réacteur-séchoir (40) à pulvérisation sont toutes deux régulées en fonction de la température du gaz de combustion existant, de sorte que dans le cas où la température du gaz de combustion existant détectée se situe en-dessous d'une valeur minimale acceptable, et la vitesse de fourniture du liquide résiduel est régulée.
