METHOD AND CIRCUIT FOR RETUNING OF A RADIO RECEIVER Abstract of the Disclosure A method and associated circuitry for retuning a tuning frequency of tuning circuitry of a radio receiver to a frequency channel of a set of frequency channels. The tuning frequency of the tuning circuitry is retuned when the tuning circuitry is initially tuned to receive a communication signal transmitted by a transmitter of a less-than-most desired network of transmitters. If a communication signal transmitted by a transmitter of a most-desired network of transmitters is detected by the radio receiver when the receiver is retuned, then the receiver camps to the transmitter of the most-desired network of transmitters.
