A method and component devices for producing edentulous dentures. The method includes obtaining a cast impression of a jaw, any teeth and gingiva area with a first set of dental trays including selecting a properly sized upper dental tray (10) and a properly sized lower dental tray (50), applying impression material in each said tray and placing each said dental impression tray with said impression material in said oral cavity in order to deform uncured impression material. A second set of dental trays is utilized including a lower dental tray (100) having a contact plate (1 10) with an upwardly extending shoulder (1 12) surrounding a tapered opening, a ball nut (114) retained in the tapered opening, and a post (116) adjustably secured to the ball nut. A striking plate (122) is attached to a second upper dental tray (120) in order to accurately obtain an established occlusal vertical and centric relation positions. A third upper dental tray (200) with a wax impression is inserted for esthetic blue printing to establish the shape of the patient's upper lip and mouth. A third lower dental tray (220) with wax impression material (222) is utilized to determine functional position including tongue, cheek and Hp positioning.
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé et à des dispositifs à plusieurs composants destinés à fabriquer des dentiers. Le procédé comprend l'obtention d'une empreinte par moulage d'une mâchoire, de n'importe quelles dents et de la zone gingivale à l'aide d'un premier jeu de porte-empreintes comprenant la sélection d'un porte-empreinte supérieur (10) correctement dimensionné et d'un porte-empreinte inférieur (50) correctement dimensionné, l'application d'un matériau d'empreinte dans chaque dit porte-empreinte et le placement de chaque dit porte-empreinte garni dudit matériau d'empreinte dans ladite cavité buccale dans le but de déformer le matériau d'empreinte non durci. On utilise un second jeu de porte-empreintes comprenant un porte-empreinte inférieur (100) doté d'une plaque de contact (110) avec un épaulement (112) remontant vers le haut entourant une ouverture conique, un écrou sphérique (114) maintenu dans l'ouverture conique et une tige (116) fixée de manière réglable à l'écrou sphérique. Un plateau de contact (122) est fixé à un deuxième porte-empreinte supérieur (120) afin d'obtenir précisément des positions de relations occlusales verticale et centrée établies. Un troisième porte-empreinte supérieur (200) avec une cire pour prise d'empreinte est inséré pour obtenir une empreinte esthétique afin d'établir la forme de la lèvre supérieure et de la bouche du patient. On utilise un troisième porte-empreinte inférieur (220) avec de la cire pour prise d'empreinte (222) pour déterminer la position fonctionnelle y compris le positionnement de la langue, des joues et de la voûte palatine.
