A method for cutting fabric comprising dispensing a trace of a resin composition on the fabric surface to provide a desired fabric cutting line for cutting the fabric along the trace of dispensed resin with cutting means, wherein the resin composition is stable under dispensing and cutting conditions and is characterised by a viscosity in the range 2000-1 Pa.s (18~ C) and tack or softening at ambient or elevated temperature in the range 20 to 130~ C; a resin composition for use in the method comprising at least one substantially stable resin in substantial absence or any curing agent, catalyst or cross linking agen characterised by viscosity in the range 2000 - 1 Pa.s (18~ C) and tack or softening at ambient and/or elevated temperature; method for the preparation thereof; a method for blending thereof; apparatus for use in the method; a method for dry fibre moulding using the method and composition; a preform obtained with use of the method and composition; a method for injecting or infusing the preform with curable matrix resin: the curable injected or infused preform resin; a method for curing thereof; and a cured composite obtained with the method.
L'invention concerne un procédé de coupe de tissu consistant à étaler une trace d'une composition de résine sur la surface d'un tissu, de manière à présenter une ligne de coupe de tissu souhaitée permettant la coupe du tissu le long de la trace de résine étalée, au moyen d'un organe de coupe, la composition de résine étant stable dans des conditions d'étalement et de coupe, étant caractérisée par une viscosité de l'ordre de 2000-1 Pa.s (18· C) et se collant et se ramollissant à une température ambiante et élevée comprise dans la plage située entre 20 et 130· C; une composition de résine à utiliser dans le procédé comprenant au moins une résine sensiblement stable et sensiblement dépourvue d'agents de séchage, de catalyse ou de réticulation, caractérisée par une viscosité de l'ordre de 2000 - 1 Pa.s (18· C) et se collant ou se ramollissant à une température ambiante t/ou élevée; un procédé de préparation de cette composition; un procédé de mélange de celle-ci; un appareil à utiliser dans le procédé; un procédé de moulage de fibres sèches mettant en oeuvre le procédé et la composition; une préforme obtenue par mise en oeuvre du procédé et de la composition; un procédé d'injection ou d'infusion de la préforme avec une résine de matrice séchable; la résine de préforme séchable injectée ou infusée; un procédé de séchage de celle-ci; et un composite séché obtenu au moyen du procédé.
