The invention relates to methods and compositions for masking the taste of minerals in ingestible products. In particular, tannic acid, glycyrrhizin and acesulfame potassium are added to compositions comprising minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, copper, chromium, zinc, and mixtures in order to reduce or eliminate the unpleasant taste or aftertaste associated with these minerals.

L'invention concerne des procédés et des compositions servant à masquer le goût désagréable associé aux minéraux contenus dans des produits alimentaires. Plus particulièrement, on ajoute de l'acide tannique, de la glycyrrhizine et de l'Acésulfame-K à des compositions contenant des minéraux tels que le potassium, le calcium, le magnésium, le fer, le cuivre, le chrome, le zinc et les mélanges de ces métaux. Cela permet de réduire ou d'éliminer le goût ou l'arrière-goût désagréable associé à ces minéraux.
