ABSTRACT A method for the control of protozoan infections in infected warm-blooded animals comprising orally administering to said warm-blooded animals a protozoacidally effective amount of protozoacidal agent LL-E19085.alpha. or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The protozoacidal agent may comprise about 1% to about 25% by weight of an animal feed premix composition and about 25 ppm to 1500 ppm of an animal feed composition.
