ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE What are disclosed are a method for repelling small blood feeding pests from the skin, hair, or fur of a mammal, which method comprises applying a pest repellant amount of a repellant which is cyano (3-phenoxyphenyl) methyl-4-chloro-alpha-(1-methylethyl) benzeneacetate to said skin, hair, or fur and compositions for performing this method.
