Abstract A description is given of a device for arranging a closable pouring device (6) on the hole in the top (4) of a pack (5). This device has a mandrel wheel (2) which is rotated intermittently about an axis of rotation (3). The mandrel wheel is provided with four mandrels (1) which project radially from a hub (9). In order to lower the cost of the machine and to economise on material for the product, and to improve reliability and hygiene requirements during the arrangement process, it is provided according to the invention that arranged in the region of the outer periphery of the mandrel wheel (2) at angular spacings to the axis of rotation (3) is a set-down station (I) and adjacent heating station (II, II'), followed by a sealing station (III) and a stripper station (IV) in such a way that the outer end of each mandrel (1) is capable of engagingin step-wise manner with the stations (I-IV) successively.
