The present invention provides a filter (80) for separating red blood cells from a whole blood sample to form plasma. The filter (80) includes a solid phase support (84) and an agglutinin (86) for red blood cells. The agglutinin is insoluble in the whole blood sample and is immobilized on the solid phase support. The present invention also includes a device (60) and method for determining the presence of at least one of a plurality of analytes in a sample of whole blood.

La présente invention consiste en un filtre (80) permettant de séparer les globules rouges d'un échantillon de sang total pour obtenir du plasma. Le filtre (80) inclut un support solide (84) et une agglutinine (86) pour les globules rouges. L'agglutinine est insoluble dans l'échantillon de sang total et est immobilisée sur un support solide.
