The invention relates to the coating and shaping of strand-shaped metallic material by drawing, wherein lubricants in solid to liquid state are used. The invention enables high-performance shaping and substantially reduces the number of equipment involved while solving sealing problems in lubricants and improving several technological parameters in the shaping and coating process depending on the material being shaped. According to the invention, the material (1) to be shaped is coated with lubricant by means of a double chamber arrangement consisting of a low-pressure lubricant chamber (2) and a high-pressure lubricant chamber (3) attached thereto and shaped with the working drawing dies (5; 6) available on the outlets of the chambers. The low pressure chamber (2) is filled with solid to pasty lubricant (8) by means of a lubricant feeding device (7) and a low pressure is externally applied to said chamber. A high pressure of the lubricant is built up in the high pressure chamber (3) by the coated material (1) to be shaped entering said chamber. A combined lubricant pressure-lubricant temperature is regulated in such a way that the lubricant (9) is available in solid to liquid state. The invention is particularly useful in wire drawing.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'enduction et de déformation d'une matière métallique en forme de barre à déformer par étirage, selon lequel on utilise des lubrifiants solides à liquides. L'invention permet de réaliser une déformation haute performance avec un appareillage considérablement réduit. De plus, les problèmes d'étanchéité vis-à-vis du lubrifiant sont résolus et plusieurs paramètres technologiques dans le processus de déformation et d'enduction sont améliorés en fonction de la matière à déformer. Selon l'invention, la matière à déformer (1) est revêtue de lubrifiant au moyen d'un système à deux chambres comprenant une chambre à lubrifiant basse pression (2) à laquelle est raccordée une chambre à lubrifiant haute pression (3), puis la matière est déformée au moyen de filières de travail (5 ; 6) situées aux sorties des chambres. La chambre basse pression (2) est remplie de lubrifiant solide à pâteux (8) au moyen d'une alimentation en lubrifiant (7), et une basse pression est appliquée de façon externe à ce lubrifiant. Dans la chambre haute pression (3), une haute pression de lubrifiant est établie par l'intermédiaire de la matière à déformer revêtue (1) pénétrant dans cette chambre, et une combinaison température-pression de lubrifiant est réglée de telle sorte que le lubrifiant (9) se présente dans la chambre dans un état allant de l'état solide à l'état liquide. L'invention peut être appliquée pour le tréfilage.
