A thin metallic ferromagnetic alloy ribbon is annealed by continuously transporting it through an oven in order to induce specific magnetic characteristics and in order to remove a production-inherent longitudinal curvature of the ribbon. While the heat-treatment occurs, the ribbon is guided by a channel in a substantially straight annealing fixture. The channel is characterized by slight curvatures along portions of its length, in particular where the ribbon enters into the annealing oven. The curved channel provides an improved thermal contact between the ribbon and the heat reservoir. As a consequence the process can be conducted at particularly high annealing speeds without degrading the desired characteristics.
Selon la présente invention, on recuit un ruban en alliage ferromagnétique métallique mince en l'acheminant de façon continue à travers un four en vue d'induire des caractéristiques magnétiques spécifiques et d'éliminer une courbure longitudinale du ruban inhérente à la production. Tandis que le traitement thermique s'effectue, on guide le ruban à l'aide d'un canal dans un raccord de recuisson droit. Ledit canal est caractérisé par des courbures légères le long de parties de sa longueur, notamment, à l'endroit où le ruban entre dans le four de recuisson. Le canal courbé fournit un contact thermique amélioré entre le ruban et le réservoir thermique. Par conséquent, on peut réaliser le procédé à des vitesses de recuisson particulièrement élevées sans provoquer de dégradations des caractéristiques souhaitées.
