Method and apparatus for feeding feedable material (gaseous, liquid pasty or trickling materials). The apparatus includes a working chamber for feeding a material between an inlet aperture and an outlet aperture, at least one elastically yielding wall element, and at least one driving device acting on the elastically yielding wall element through a force trasmission point to generate feeding. The driving device generates a pulsating action on the elastically yielding wall element and thus on the material, causing a migrating wave to be generated within the material between the inlet aperture and the outlet aperture. The elastically yielding wall element is resistant to bending and the force transmission between the driving device and the elastically yielding wall element includes a joint located between the driving device and the force transmission point, causing a wave motion generated by deflections at the force transmission point to extend beyond the force transmission point

L'invention concerne un procédé et une machine (machine à force de déplacement ou analogue) pour le transport de substances (gazeuses, liquides, pâteuses ou coulantes). Selon l'invention, l'entraînement produit une onde migratoire.
