A reprocessor for microbially deactivating items. The reprocessor has a circulation system for circulating a microbial deactivation fluid through a deactivation chamber that forms part of the circulation system. A container is provided for insertion into the deactivation chamber for holding items to be microbially deactivated. The container includes a tray and a lid. The tray and lid have interlocking, integrally formed, rigid seal elements formed thereon to form a seal between the tray and the lid.

L'unité de retraitement présente un système de circulation destiné à faire circuler un fluide de désactivation microbienne dans une chambre de désactivation faisant partie du système de circulation. Un contenant est prévu pour une insertion à l'intérieur de la chambre de désactivation afin de contenir les articles soumis à désactivation microbienne. Le contenant comprend un plateau et un couvercle. Le plateau et le couvercle comprennent des éléments d'étanchéité rigides interverrouillés formés solidaires sur ceux-ci afin de former un joint entre le plateau et le couvercle.
