The invention relates to a method for shaping wire-shaped and rod-shaped starting materials (17) by rolling, especially for rolling flat profiled elements (18) consisting of a wire rod. The starting material (17) is heated in a heating station (5) at a desired temperature, shaped during at least one rolling process (7), and then cooled. According to the invention, once the starting material (17) has been heated in the heating station (5), it is cooled in a cooling station (14) to a pre-determinable rolling temperature; it is then shaped into a flat profiled element (18) by rolling close to the gauge block, and then cooled and/or subjected to a subsequent treatment according to joining properties to be correspondingly adjusted. In this way, a series of different methods can be carried out by means of an installation for rolling starting materials with a patented structure, an austenite structure, a bainite structure or an undercooled austenite structure.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de façonnage par une technique de laminage de produits de départ (17) en forme de fils et barres, notamment de laminage de profilés plats (18) à partir de fils laminés. Dans une station de chauffage (5), la matière de départ (17) est chauffée à une température souhaitée, cette matière de départ (17) étant façonnée dans au moins une opération de laminage (7) puis refroidie. Selon l'invention, après chauffage de la matière de départ (17) dans une station de chauffage (5), cette matière de départ (17) est refroidie dans une station de refroidissement (14) à une température prédéterminée. Et à cette température de laminage, la matière de départ est façonnée en profilé plat (18) par une technique de laminage à proximité de la cale-étalon puis refroidie et/ou retraitée conformément à des propriétés de constitution à régler. Ainsi une installation permet une série de conduites de procédés différentes pour laminer la matière de départ avec une structure brevetée, une structure d'austénite, une structure de bainite ou une structure d'austénite surrefroidie.
