The invention concerns a device (1) comprising means (5) having knowledge of the terrain profile, means (7) for determining effective values of particular flight parameters, checking means for (9) for verifying whether a flight path determined by means of said effective values is compatible with the terrain profile, and means (13) for emitting a warning signal in case of incompatibility, said checking means (9) including at least one element (15) for calculating a height variation due to an energy transfer and to a total slope variation generated by a speed reduction, during an evasive action, an element (16) determining an evasive course using said height variation, and an element (3) verifying whether the evasive course thus determined is compatible with the terrain profile.
Le dispositif (1) comprend un moyen (5) connaissant un profil du terrain, un moyen (7) déterminant les valeurs effectives de paramètres de vol particuliers, un moyen de vérification (9) vérifiant si une trajectoire de vol déterminée à l'aide desdites valeurs effectives est compatible avec le profil du terrain, et un moyen (13) émettant un signal d'alerte en cas d'incompatibilité, ledit moyen de vérification (9) comportant au moins un élément (15) calculant une variation de hauteur due à un transfert d'énergie et à une variation de pente totale engendrée par une réduction de vitesse, lors d'une manAEuvre d'évitement, un élément (16) déterminant une trajectoire d'évitement à l'aide de cette variation de hauteur, et un élément (3) vérifiant si la trajectoire d'évitement ainsi déterminée est compatible avec le profil du terrain.
