The invention relates to a method and device for automatically determining the concentration of nitrite of a liquid sample, with the following method steps: determining the extinction of the liquid sample with a wavelength of 150 250 nm; adding a nitrite reducing agent to the liquid sample; determining the extinction of the reduced liquid sample with a wavelength of 150 250 nm, and; determining the nitrite concentration based on the difference of the concentration values obtained from the extinctions of the non-reduced and the reduced sample.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de déterminer de manière automatique la présence de nitrite dans un échantillon liquide, qui comprend les étapes suivantes: déterminer l'extinction de l'échantillon de liquide à une longueur d'ondes comprise entre 150 et 250 nm; ajouter un agent de réduction du nitrite à l'échantillon liquide; déterminer l'extinction de l'échantillon liquide réduit, à une longueur d'ondes de l'ordre de 150 à 250 nm, et déterminer la concentration en nitrite, à partir de la différence entre les valeurs de concentration dérivées des extinctions de l'échantillon non réduit et de l'échantillon réduit.
